Last night I had a lot of fun playing a DJ set for a show that my friend was throwing.

It has been a tumultuous week because the house that I was living in with three housemates caught on fire a few days ago. We have been scrambling to find a new place to live as well as dealing with various people -- the firefighters, property manager, and Red Cross folks. We've been fundraising for my housemate who lost almost everything in the fire. It has been a difficult few days, but the help and support of friends has given us a lot of hope.

Things have been looking up.

I was anxious to play despite all the chaos of the last few days. The adrenaline of DJing and dancing is way too fun.

I was extremely pleased that my friends old and new came out to the show to dance.
