I've had a good couple of weeks. I am making a concerted effort to do the things I really want to do with my time, despite the effort required.

Like many people, I have always had a fraught relationship with time.
When I force myself to meet new people, I find myself learning from them something new and essential. An acquaintance told me the value of putting yourself into "uncomfortable" situations.
When it comes to creative projects, we must be brave and constantly make choices to transform the fanciful, undefined, unexecuted imagination into something real, flawed, and consequently special.
My friend told me that she doesn't like to overcomplicate art. She prefers the profundity and depth of simple concepts built upon each other.
Similarly, I discussed with another friend how simple aspects of life bring people joy. Delight in the strange outfit a stranger is wearing. Synchroniticies. Loving and being loved. The depth of these simple delights comes from the multiplicities of their manifestations.
